This year has been incredibly challenging for all of us and especially for those in active treatment. The BarbaraCares Foundation understands that many breast cancer patients and those caring for them are dealing with a lot during this pandemic. This Thanksgiving, BarbaraCares will be providing a limited amount of Thanksgiving meals to local DFW breast cancer patients. Accepting submissions until November 13, 2020. March For Mammograms is an annual fun run/walk designed to raise both awareness and dollars to support Texans in need of life-saving mammograms. The BarbaraCares Foundation raises funds to provide mammogram screenings for those that qualify here in the State of Texas. In partnership with several agencies, the BarbaraCares Foundation will cover the costs associated with these screenings in an effort to help saves lives through early detection. The number of screenings provided is based on the amount of funds raised through March For Mammograms.
Registration for March for Mammograms is $20.00 per participant. Or sponsor 1 mammogram for $136.60. All funds are non-refundable. Every dollar raised for this event is used for providing mammograms and supportive services to breast cancer patients and caregivers. BarbaraCares is a Texas nonprofit corporation, classified as a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
