* INAUGURAL TRAUMA & RESILIENCY SYMPOSIUM: MAY 02, 2026 @ TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE - TRINITY RIVER CAMPUS 


​Great impactful event today hosted by Commissioner Roderick F. Miles, Jr. @barbaracaresfoundation , along with other agencies and industry leaders took part in the Inaugural Trauma & Resiliency Symposium. So many insightful presenters and invaluable resources were made available to the community. We provided details about upcoming mammogram events, breast health cards, and additional information. We do outreach with community in mind.

It has always been our desire at @barbaracaresfoundation to literally meet people where they are and this past Saturday we were humbled for another opportunity to share health and wellness with the community! ​Second event on Saturday 08/08/26. Any day is a good day to schedule your mammogram. Thank you to those that came out to get screened and for those that walked away with additional resources. Grateful for community partners like Diamond Hill Community Center for being a true Partner in Hope in the fight against late-stage breast cancer diagnoses. When trusted venues are located in the heart of the community, they help build trust, increase access to valuable health resources, remove barriers to care, and create unique opportunities to educate and connect with families firsthand. This is what community partnership looks like. ​PURPLE TEA - BREAST CANCER AWARENESS EVENT: SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Thank you to Forest Hill Church of Christ and the entire Purple Tea Committee for inviting our Executive Director, XAVIER SANDERS to serve as the keynote speaker for today’s event. #Breastcancerawareness will always be a cause near and dear to our heart, but we also carry a deep passion for those who stand beside the patient: the #caregivers.
Too often, caregivers are overlooked, overwhelmed, and quietly carrying more than anyone realizes. They spend so much time pouring into others that sometimes no one stops to pour back into them. Today, we had that opportunity.
